Maker Faire Austin was Awesome!
We had a bast at Maker Faire in Austin earlier this month, and are just now getting settled down enough to reflect on it.
We, and many other out of towners, were able to sleep on site at a camping area right next to the faire. This was really cool, as we were able to hang out all night with other makers and see the faire at night.

There was a huge Art Car presence, with some really amazing local Austin cars, like this giant Monster Truck
And this ... La Cookaracha!
We met new friends with Fireworks in their hats.... That's Austin all the way...
And saw old friends, doing what they do best...
Speaking of old friends, Shop bot was there, demonstrating their machines of course, and also showing of some cool software from V-Carve Pro... which will allow us to do fancy inlay much easier and better.
Rob Bell was there too, showing off his very cool design of his Zomicile
We're lucky we saw anyone at all with all the time we spent running ArtGolf. We even gave a presentation on ArtGolf on the big stage- and Make was using the chairs on the stage that we made earlier this year! How cool!
