The new 'ship' dividers in the office add a fun aesthetic to this small video game designer space.
Floor plan of the existing desk layout with the new ship dividers and new furniture plans for the outlining office area.
From the balcony above you can see the main open work space, now filled with our 'sun sails' (to help with glare at desks) and the large ship dividers.
The ship sun shades sit onto the existing desk particians.
Different color shade sales throughout the office add color variation within a consistent pallet. This allows for some way finding and employee choice for color options near their desks.
In the center of the open office stands a meeting room with all glass walls that was referred to as 'the fish tank'. We playfully covered it with an under water theme of fish, coral and divers. The vinyl application adds a need privacy to the meeting room.
A diver searches down to the bottom of the sea......
Employee additions to the glass adds fun and shows staff agency with the space. A thing we love to see after our designs are in place!
Other small and difficult spaces needed quick and affordable make overs to become meeting spaces. This room has the original brick wall exposed and hardwood furniture installed.
An in-between hall area reformed into a casual meeting and work space. Named by the staff 'the tree house', so we put in low seating and a tree branch coffee table.
The largest of the desk dividers has a kraken coming out of the waves. (We needed something to attack the ships!)
One of the smaller ship desk dividers. We added 1P, 2P, 3P...etc, onto the sails to reference the companies name and show these pieces as game players within the office.
We enjoy adding details to our projects that our clients and the end users will love. Each divider here has 'stats', another video game reference, and a detail we felt would be thoroughly enjoyed by the staff.
The design drawings for the ship dividers to relay the final concepts to the client.
In our fabrication shop, a first assembly of the ship dividers is done on the shop floor.
The final detail painting was done by hand after the layering pieces were assembled.

The ship sails receive their final fine tuning of hardware assembly before they are approved for shipping.
