Located in the heat of a desert climate, natural light with shade controls were our prime motivation on the design.

We used concrete and wood to wrap the interior reception area, referencing the industrial work that this companies provides.

A study in day and night time views of the renovated building. Sun and interior light studies help show the client the vision of the design.

A large addition added onto this thriving business gives them the space they desperately need.

The office spaces are open and airy with outside overhangs for shade and natural light allowances in this hot desert climate.

With the southern California climate location, we opened up the building, allowing in more light and air, but keeping in mind the harsh sun with large overhangs and slat system shades.
