Our client had just purchased a new building with the intent on moving his office there. The building had excellent bones and location, but the interior was out of date, needing a major renovation. These ‘before’ photos show the industrial office carpet, florescent tube lighting and the cut up space.

Our initial design drawings show the renovation to the space, interior aesthetic and furniture picks. The client needed the space to be a bright, pleasant and comfortable office for his small team to work out of daily. A space that was highly functional but also had some interest to it, a space that says ‘we’re a professional office, but we’re also a little different.‘

Even small offices have lots of opportunity to create unique and interesting spaces that are highly functional. Aside from the basic needs of updating the finishes by swapping out the floor, adding more internal windows, updated doors and lighting, we wanted to add some delight - so we designed and installed a custom ceiling design to create a unique and sophisticated flare to the internal space. To go along with our built in ceiling and wall pieces, we created a complimentary linear light pattern.

Taking advantage of the wonderful southern exposure of the space we added in living walls in key areas of the office. These were a great way to add a lushness to the office and because they are on the walls, they take up very little space.

The addition of vibrant green living pants in the entry and the main conference room were transformative to the space. These living plants added a felling of freshness and delight as the staff walks past multiple times a day.

Working with the local company: Planted Design, we installed these two large living walls in the entry and main conference room of the office. Working with a dedicated plating company allows for our clients a streamlined plant maintenance option, making live plants easy for them to manage.

The dark wood aesthetic that travels throughout the office is largely held in the large slab meeting tables and desks we designed and built. These live edge slab tables for the offices, conference rooms and shared spaces have an intential dominating and sturdy presence.

For the main conference room, we designed and built this live edge slab conference table with integrated power and custom steel tube legs. The table is massive, sturdy and durable.

Every room in the office received a live edge desk with sturdy steel tube legs - creating a cohesive look throughout the space. These tables will last a lifetime.

Our table leg design uses darkened steel square tube, threaded rods bolts and fasteners, all exposed for an industrial yet modern and clean aesthetic.

Being fully integrated with the fabrication stage of the design, we are able to move quickly and make the best decisions for our clients with materials, finishes and all last minute changes.

Installing custom elements like a kit of parts. We scan and measure with multiple iterations for our custom installed pieces. Bringing in units as large chunks for quick installation that allows adjustment and trimming in the field.
